About Me:
I'm a 6'3” tall, green-eyed, blond-haired, 23-year old man in the United States Air Force in South Korea. I'm married with two children (who are all in Texas at the moment) and happy with my family whom I wouldn't change for the world. I just started taking Kung Fu classes and it is pretty challenging for me, but I love it altogether. I like to play Sudoku from time to time (I've just completed a full book of level 9 black belt sudoku after a month). More to come…
I'm a full-life student meaning that I find lessons for life in everyday living. I'm interested in the Taoist philosophy and religion. I've studied it since I was in high school and am now studying it on my spare time to get a better grasp on it. It's fairly simple. All you have to do is look to nature for life's little lessons and see the nature in all things. By seeing the nature of all things, you see that everything is natural being that everything has a nature to it. Anything that exists has a nature and therefore is natural. As you might've seen the Yin-Yang symbol, it was created by oriental cultures before religion was born and the Taoists were the first to use it in their philosophies. It's all about opposites being unable to exist without each other. You may see that the lines that separate them make the opposites separated and solid. But, Taoists believe that there are no definite opposites and they cannot always be as defined as that. They also believe that by naming, defining and separating things, you are labeling and limiting something to that name, definition, and separation. *sigh* I think that's enough about that. I believe that I'm a Taoist by heart and by nature (pun half-intended).
